The Navy Week program is the Navy’s primary outreach effort into areas of the country without a significant Navy presence. The program is designed to help Americans in the heartland understand that their Navy is deployed around the world, around the clock, ready to defend America at all times.
Chartwell Agency worked with the Navy Office of Community Outreach (NAVCO) and General Dynamics (GDIT) Navy Week subcontractors to facilitate meetings and special engagements with Quad Cities’ business leaders, service organizations, educational institutions, and others. Chartwell also was charged with coordinating media relations throughout the week.
In total, Chartwell Agency coordinated 56 special events and appearances which garnered interactions with more than 6,300 people and secured 95 print and broadcast clips contributing to more than 4 million media impressions for the event.
