Chartwell Agency Receives Six dotCOMM Awards in International Competition for Website and Digital Work

Chartwell Agency, an award-winning marketing firm based in northern Illinois, recently earned six dotCOMM Awards from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP).


The dotCOMM Awards is an international competition honoring excellence in web creativity and digital communication. The competition is unique in that it reflects the role of creatives in the dynamic web that is transforming how organizations market and communicate products and services. Winning a dotCOMM award signifies that the winner’s web and digital work is among the best in the industry.

Chartwell received one Platinum award, the top recognition, three Gold awards, and two Honorable Mention awards for its work during the past 12 months.

Chartwell received the following awards:

  • Platinum: BioForward Wisconsin Website Design. Chartwell Agency created a website design to make BioForward’s website a resource for multiple audiences. For members, the site is a tool to find information about events, advocacy efforts, networking resources, and relevant industry news. For potential talent, the site serves as a promotion of Wisconsin’s robust biohealth opportunities and amazing quality of life. For community and state leaders, the site serves as a resource for detailed information about the economic and human impact of the state’s biohealth cluster.
  • Gold: BioForward Wisconsin Summit Video. Chartwell Agency and BioForward Wisconsin worked together to develop a video for its annual Biohealth Summit, the largest gather of biohealth professionals in Wisconsin and serves as a platform to celebrate Wisconsin’s biohealth community and industry. Through informative infographics and bright B-roll, the video highlighted the possibilities in Wisconsin and the educational opportunities, university support, and health centers in the state.
  • Gold: Diamond Assets Website. Chartwell worked with Diamond Assets to ensure a thoughtful web development process, working closely with the organization to gather content, assets, and to understand their business goals. Diamond Assets helps schools, businesses, and government agencies create sustainable plans that ensure equitable access to technology. By identifying a website structure and developing content to help tell Diamond Assets’ story, the website is a valuable resource that makes it easy for potential clients to find the information they need quickly and concisely.  

  • Gold: Rockford Gastroenterology Associates ‘If You… Then It’s Time for a Colonoscopy’ Digital Marketing Campaign. Chartwell Agency developed a social media campaign for Rockford Gastroenterology Associates to raise awareness about regular screenings for colorectal cancer in adults 45 years old and older. The imagery of the campaign focused on trends from previous decades that would resonate with the aging adult population and encouraged them to schedule a colonoscopy if they remembered having participated in the specific trends.

  • Honorable Mention: BioForward Wisconsin Talent Campaign. Chartwell Agency partnered with BioForward Wisconsin to create engaging and informative videos to recruit new biotech talent to companies to Wisconsin. The videos featured comments from current biotech employees talking about work/life balance, career satisfaction and what they love about working and living in Wisconsin.
     
  • Honorable Mention: Keith Country Day School Video Series. Chartwell Agency developed a series of videos highlighting the impressive education students receive at Keith. Through non-scripted interviews, family and staff shared their experiences at Keith. The videos are insightful, graphically pleasing, easy to follow, and deliver a concise and authentic message.
