According to Hootsuite, the best time to post on Facebook is from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. I like to ask people to consider their own habits:
- What’s the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning? You usually check your phone.
- What about when you get to the office? A quick social media check-in while going through emails.
- What are you doing around lunch time when you’ve clocked out for a break? You’re likely surfing and scrolling.
Data from SproutSocial backs that up, too. Social media researchers also note posting Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays will get you the most bang for your buck.

- From your news feed, click “Pages” in the left menu.
- Go to your page
- Click “Insights” in the left menu
From there, you can find demographic data about your audience and track how they are responding to your posts.
